A Continental Encrusted Porcelain Mantel Clock, circa 1890, surmounted by a figure group of two lovers about to kiss beneath the branches of a tree, the bombe sided case richly encrusted with flowers and modelled with scrolls picked out in soft naturalistic enamel colours and heightened in gilt, white enamel chapter ring centred by a visible Brocot escapement, the twin barrel movement with outer countwheel striking on a bell by Marti & Cie, numbered 140, upon a scroll pierced plinth with upswept leafy angles applied and painted with flowers and sprays, spurious Marcolini Meissen mark in underglaze blue, each separate part marked, {71.5cm high overall} (typical petal/leaf loss and other minor damage/restoration)

An Arts and Crafts mahogany wardrobe, designed by Barry Parker and Sir Raymond Unwin, for Goodall, Lamb & Heighway Ltd., Manchester, the centre section with two doors having tongue and groove panelling and plant form cut outs, the canted sides with glazed and leaded doors above open shelves and four drawers below, beaten copper fittings, raised on a plinth 220cm wide, 180cm high, 55cm deep.
