Set of six miniature busts depicting Napoleon and his Generals in full military regalia, each figure raised on a circular gilt plinth. Figurines includes Napoleon Bonaparte, Jean-de-Dieu Soult, Jozef Poniatowski, Jean Lannes, Prince Eugene of Savoy, Jean Andoche Junot and Joachim Murat, approx between 9 and 13 cms respectively. (*cr) Condition Report Eugene has a hairline crack to the gilt plinth, Lannes has a surface scratch to the gilt.
A substantial Royal Worcester twin handled blush ivory urn, nr 1398, neoclassical in style with upright scroll handles with fabric drapes, dated code 1889, the body painted with sprays of pansy, iris, daffodil and forget-me-not, with gilded instrumental motif, the shoulders and square plinth moulded with grotesque horned mask, approx 44 cms h. Condition Report In our opinion, overall the urn is in very good condition, only slight rubbing to the gilt on mouth and foot. The noses on the masks at the foot are rubbed. We have inspected the urn under UV light - no signs of damage, cracks, chips or restoration.
CHARLES NOKE FOR ROYAL DOULTON; a figure HN542 'The Cobbler', impressed signature, height 18cm.Condition Report: Fine hairline crack to the base, a further crack which terminates from the base into the plinth base, approx 3.5cm into the figure, light glaze crazing, a minor flea bite to the foot rim.
A large and impressive Victorian brass skeleton clock of architectural form with twin fusee movement striking on bell and applied chapter ring bearing Roman numerals, on oval alabaster plinth base, height 57cm, in associated later case. Condition Report: Tarnishing and wear throughout. Minor chipping to alabaster plinth base, small piece of bent wire behind numeral 4, case is a later example. when wound the clock does run although we offer no guarantee of working order.
An early 20th century brass gravity clock, possibly by Watson & Webb Kee-less Clock Company, the brass frame with notched rack supporting the weighted circular case, containing movement and bearing Arabic numerals, on onyx plinth base, height 25cm.Condition Report: Chipping to the alabaster footrim. Tarnishing and wear to case, clock is currently not functioning.
A Victorian oil lamp, the vaseline and clear glass shade with wavy rim and etched floral decoration above the yellow glass reservoir with moulded detail, on a fluted column, terminating on a black plinth base, height including chimney 66cm. Condition Report: The shade with minor nibbled to the foot rim, denting and slight misshaping to the wick holder, there is a short crack terminating from the rim into the shoulder of the reservoir, wear to the collar.
A Victorian oil lamp, the vaseline and clear glass shade with etched floral decoration and wavy rim, with the moulded glass reservoir on a brass plated column, terminating on a black plinth base, height including chimney 68cm.Condition Report: Very minor nibbles to the foot rim of the shade, the shade/chimney holder is loose, there is an internal line in the reservoir which does not appear to be crack, although we offer no guarantee of this, there is crack terminating from the rim into the shoulder of reservoir, wear to the brass plating.
