A Victorian burr walnut Davenport, with pierced gallery above a leather cloth lined writing slope fitted brass mounted corners, opening to reveal storage compartment, two short drawers and two dummy drawers, the lower left dummy drawer knob handle withdrawing to unlock the side fitting pen draw, the right-hand side with arched panel door enclosing shelves, the top resting on pierced, fluted and turned pilasters, the whole raised on a plinth base and castors, 23 x 23 x 32in. high.

A good late 19th/early 20th Century German silver model of a medieval Knight in full armour on horseback, the Knight with carved ivory face holding a lance in his right hand and a small ceremonial shield cast with a pseudo crest of a double headed eagle and a small rectangular pennant, the horse with decorated armour and inset with seven cabochon agates, the shaped plinth base cast with a pseudo crest of a double headed eagle to front and reverse flanked by embossed and chased leaf scroll and lions mask ornament, the moulded base with acanthus leaf ornament, 12ins high x 13ins overall (marked "Sterling 925 Germany" - gross weight 60ozs)
