An important pair of 19th century carved light oak double fronted open dwarf library bookcases, of large proportions, each side split into three sections separated by columns with adjustable oak shelves with carved fronts. The columns on one side of each unit open to reveal a full height and depth space four inches wide, one of these is fitted with full depth drawers at low level to fit meteorological readings, all on a plinth base. Also on one side of each unit a full length plan drawer with two carved lion mask holding brass handles fitted in the head above the shelves. Each end cut to fit against a wall. Provenance: Elveden Hall Estate auction 21 to 24 May 1984, the property of The Third Earl of Iveagh. These massive bookcases, which are extremely heavy, can be viewed in situ in the Hall by prior arrangement with the auctioneers and must be removed by prior appointment only250w x 162h x 88d cmCondition report: Internal columns 19cm.

A Victorian Figured Walnut Wellington Chest, circa 1870, of seven graduated drawers with turned handles and lockable stile, on plinth base, 60cm by 42cm by 122cm Good condition and the top is sound. Some small scratches to the top and a small bruise. Nice patina to the walnut. In good condition throughout, no key but the lockable stile is open.

After the Antique: A Bronze Warwick Vase, of typical form, on a square plinth, 34cm wide Having been discovered at Hadrian's Villa, Tivoli, when a pond in the grounds was drained in 1771, the ancient Roman vase became known as The Warwick Vase when it was passed from Sir William Hamilton, British Envoy at the Court of Naples, to his nephew George Greville, 2nd Earl of Warwick. The sensation caused by the vase led to a great many copies being made, usually in bronze, the present example being typical . Some wear and surface scratching throughout.

An Irish Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Alexr Gordon, Dublin, circa 1780, pagoda pediment, scroll and shell carved front panel, well figured arched trunk door, plinth with a raised panel, bracket feet, 13-inch square brass dial with an Roman and Arabic numeral signed silvered chapter ring, seconds dial and date aperture, four pillar movement with an anchor escapement and inside countwheel striking on a bell, 249cm high see illustration 10.06.21 Pagoda top pediment section has been later added, left hand side pillar with dents, case with some minor scratches and small cracks in parts, plinth sides with some visible cracks, feet with scuff marks, dial is discoloured in parts, later seatboard, small pieces of packing under both sides of the side cheeks, movement looks complete, with two weights and a pendulum.
A Marquetry Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Edward Stanton, London, circa 1700, carved winged cherub and floral crested pediment, barley twist columns, side glazed panels, trunk door with marquetry inlay with flowers, birds and central urns, glass lenticle, matching inlaid plinth, 11-inch brass dial with a Roman numeral silvered chapter ring signed Edw Stanton London, finely matted dial centre and engraved with a central flower head, blued hands, silvered winged cherub spandrels, fine six pillar movement with an anchor escapement and outside countwheel striking on a bell, 221cm high see illustrations Edward Stanton was one of the finest 17th century clockmakers working in London. He started his apprenticeship in 1655 and became a member of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers in 1662. He was made warden from 1693 and became a Master of the Clockmakers Company in 1696. It is thought that Edward dead in 1715. 23.04.21 Later carved pediment crest, hood door is later, inside the hood with small woodworm holes, both sides of the convex throat mouldings are later, top right hand side of the trunk with one small crack to the veneer and slightly lifting, trunk door is very slightly bowed, trunk door with typical cracks about 5cm down from the top, lower edge of the door with some marquetry veneer later replaced which is about 5cm up from the bottom edge, inside lower edge of the trunk door with a cross piece of wood later replaced, marquetry looks later applied to the plinth but has been restored to a high standard to match the other parts of the case, bun feet are later, dial chapter ring with minor staining marks, movement is clean and complete, with two brass cased weights and a pendulum.

Numerous old decay underneath.
Sixteen 12 Collectables - Dr Who - A boxed limited edition Cyberman from the Dr Who Classic Statue Collection number 5 of only 500 produced. This statue has some damage with a piece broken off and missing from his chest pack. There are also some small scuff marks on his body and on the plinth so is in Fair condition overall.
