A 19th century yew wood kneehole desk, with moulded edge above a series of frieze drawers and recessed cupboard and raised on bracket feet. Width 36 ins. CONDITION REPORT: This desk is in unrestored condition. The top is generally intact and of good colour and has old stress fractures and slight gaps between the sections of veneer but no significant issues. The moulded edge surrounding is very dry but all intact. The drawer fronts are in generally good order with no significant areas of missing veneer or damage. Some of the crossbanding between the drawers and down the side strips is missing. The recessed cupboard is slightly loose on the hinges and a little dry. The plinth moulding around the base is in good condition but again there are veneer losses to the fronts of the bracket feet. The backboards are in good order. The handles appear to be original.
A large Victorian mahogany three door library bookcase, with moulded cornice above three glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the base fitted with cupboard doors and plinth. Width 72 ins. CONDITION REPORT: Height 87.5 ins. The piece is in need of some restoration. The cornice is generally in good order with a minor veneer loss to the front right hand corner. The crossbanded frieze below is all present and intact but the veneer is slightly lifting in places. It is not problematic. The three doors are not warped, the left hand door does however have approximately 50% of the moulding around the glazing missing. We do however have the all important left hand half round corner section. The base has the left hand top return moulding completely missing. There is also some resulting veneer damage around the left hand front corner. The left hand side of the base is in good order. The right hand side is generally in good condition although an inch section of the thin return moulding is missing right at the rear by the wall. The left hand base door is missing its lock. The centre door is very slightly warped but not significantly. The right hand door locks as it should. All door fronts are a little tatty. The plinth base is a little scuffed as one would expect.

The moulding around the door fronts has shrunk from the panels and sections are a little loose. The drawers themselves all run as they should but are badly scuffed and knocked.
