A French Art Deco marble, onyx and spelter mantel clock, 1930s, the black and gilt Arabic dial signed 'Bodineau Cholet', fronting a twin train movement with outside countwheel strike, signed Pierre Megnin Seloncourt, no. 6282, the cloud case on an oblong plinth with a seated bronzed metal and faux-ivory female figure and dog, 12½in. (31.75cm.) high, 26in. (66cm.) long, lacks bell.
A fine quality Victorian mahogany triple wardrobe the ogee moulded pediment over a plain concave frieze and three panelled doors with egg and dart moulded borders, the two left hand doors enclosing a double width hanging space over one deep short drawer and two long graduated drawers with gilt brass locks and brasses, the right hand door enclosing hanging space over a single deep drawer, raised on a deep plinth base, 69¾in. An Arts & Crafts oak dresser, probably by Liberty & Co. c.1900, the moulded cornice over a back with central leaded, green glass door enclosing two shelves, flanked by two open shelves each side, the base with three panelled cupboard doors and plinth base, the doors with large, plated planished copper strap hinges and lock plates with drop handles, 74 x 17¼in. (188 x 43.8cm.), 83¼in. (211.5cm.) high.
A late 18th century inlaid oak and mahogany eight day longcase clock by G. Stephenson of Warminster the bell strike movement fronted by a painted arched Arabic dial, with rocking ship panel to arch, painted floral and gilt spandrels, arched date aperture and subsidiary seconds dial, the case with broken arch cornice on turned Corinthian columns, the trunk with tulipwood and boxwood and feather banded kite decoration, within feather banded canted corners, on a plinth base, 84¼in. (214cm.) high.
A fine quality Edwardian inlaid mahogany inverted breakfront library bookcase the toothed parquetry banded flared cornice over a similarly banded frieze, over four Gothic arched astragal glazed doors with satinwood banding, enclosing six adjustable shelves to each section, the uprights with toothed parquetry banding, all over a shallow cupboard base, the four fielded panelled doors centred with inlaid satinwood paterae, on a shaped plinth base, 106in. (269cm.) wide, 100½in. (235cm.) high, 15¼in. (39cm.) deep. * Provenance: Martel Maides Auctions, The Peter Wilman Collection, 18th October 2012, Lot 497.
A Victorian mahogany, marquetry and parquetry breakfront credenza, the moulded top over a parquetry banded frieze, above a central panelled door with boxwood marquetry decoration and tulipwood banding, enclosing a blue velvet interior with single shelf, flanked by convex glazed side compartments each enclosing two shelves, on a moulded and shaped plinth base, 59 x 15 ½in. (150 x 39.5cm.), 41 ¼in. (104.75cm.) high.
A French ebony, ebonised and inlaid portico clock late 19th early 20th century, French, the twin train movement signed 'J. Marti & Cie', with outside countwheel bell strike on the hour and half hour, no. 2168, the enamel dial with Roman numerals and foliate gilt bezel, the case with inlaid pediment on four barley twist pillars to an inlaid, stepped plinth base, 19½in. (49.5cm.) high, together with an ebonised base for a glass dome. (2)
