A 19th century French gilt metal cased petite/grande sonnerie striking carriage clock. The rectangular case with swing handle above a glazed top and sides, standing on a moulded plinth base, the movement with lever escapement, rectangular face with subsidiary alarm dial and strike regulators to the underside - Height 17 cm Condition report: No key needs some attention, minor chip to dial, some wear to gilt but no breaks or damage. Alarm hand now off. Three scuffs to case.

A PROPELLER BOSS. An propeller boss with clock inset in the carved face, also France 1918 above. Among the stampings are Gun Timing also D H 9-200 HP BHP Siddeley-Dg A B 7935-D-2900 and P-2380. two bladed and mounted on a plinth. The Siddeley Deasy engine was found to be overstated at 230HP later downrated to 200HP, as per this one.

RARE STEAM MODEL WORKSHOP - ERNST PLANK an unusual model of a Workshop, with a small burner which operates a series of pulleys and a range of model machinery including a lathe, circular saw and grinding stone. Mounted on a wooden plinth and with it's box (the box looks original to the model, although the image on the box is for a different model engine, it does have 'Workshop' on an original label on the box). Model and box marked EP for Ernst Plank, box is tatty. Model 34cms high

A George III mahogany banded oak eight-day longcase clock, the four pillar rack and bell striking movement with 12 inch square brass dial with calendar aperture, ringed winding holes and applied signature plaque engraved 'Jn:o Allen, MACCLESF'D to the engraved matted centre within applied silvered Roman numeral chapter ring and scallop shell and scroll cast spandrels, the case with moulded caddy over pierced frieze and Doric columns flanking dial, the trunk with shaped-top crossbanded caddy moulded door, on panel fronted plinth base with canted angles, 203cm high.

A George III oak eight-day longcase clock, William Batt, Petersfield, third quarter of the 18th century, the five pillar rack and bell striking movement with 12 inch brass break-arch dial incorporating subsidiary seconds ring, calendar aperture and applied shaped signature plate engraved Will'm Batt, Petersfield to the matted centre within applied silvered Roman numeral chapter ring with Arabic five minutes to outer track, the angles applied with twin bird and urn pattern spandrels beneath arch with subsidiary STRIKE/SILENT selection ring flanked by dolphin cast mounts, in a case with squat pagoda pediment and cavetto break-arch cornice above three quarter columns to hood over break-arch caddy moulded door to trunk, on plain plinth base incorporating bracket feet with shaped apron between, 222cm (87.5ins) high.

A Victorian mahogany cylinder bookcase, having a pair of glazed doors above a cylinder section with a pair of arched panel doors below, on a plinth base, 127 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by NG From a local private client, who is moving house. This is in a market fresh condition, with some fading, small and occasional loss to veneer but complete. The interior is fitted with pigeon holes and drawers, with the pull out section having a central writing rectangle, with a strut back, which is bowed. A couple of very minor splits to the cylinder section, as you would expect, and very slight bowing to the pair of panel doors below, 223 cm high, the bookcase section back looks original, the back to the cylinder has the central board replaced.

A late Victorian oak and ash breakfront library bookcase, having two pairs of glazed doors above two pairs of panel doors, on a plinth base, 258 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by RB Overall condition quite good, the cornice is possibly an association, it is quite a small item, with a piece spliced into the rear left hand, and the same on the right as well. The glaze bookcase top has previously been cut into three sections, and is now held together with metal plates and screws, the breakfront base has a few stain marks, the central doors enclose a recess and six small drawers, with the lock and area having been changed and altered, also damage by the lock (on the right hand door) where it has knocked into the opposing door, and the vertical section, that hides the division between the two doors nailed and repaired, the left hand door is missing its key escutcheon, and there is a small split to the right hand door, the plinth base has clearly had years of being attacked by a vacuum cleaner. There is one key which only seems to open the top left glazed door, with the bottom panel doors left and right still being locked. 264 cm high Key for locked bottom doors now located and cupboard doors unlocked.

A RARE CHINESE GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF MAITREYA 18TH CENTURY Seated with his knees slightly apart on a rectangular plinth, with jewelled adornments and an elaborate headdress, his hands raised before him, his feet resting on a support projecting at the front of the base, inscribed with three characters which read mei de li, 17cm. 19th CENTURY ORMOLU GILT BRONZE FRENCH FOUR GLASS MANTLE CLOCK, the case with emblematic pediment surmounted by quiver of arrows and flaming torch, foliate scrolled angles, bevelled glass panels, enamelled face with Roman numerals and exposed escapement, mercury compensated pendulum on a foliate scrolled base. c. 1865. 19" high (49cm) together with wooden plinth and glass dome. CONDITION REPORT: Exceptionally good condition overall, only minor wear to gilding in places, no obvious damage or losses.
