With anchor escapement, grand sonnerie striking on two bells. 13cm diam, white enamel dial with arabic numerals and secondary, inside date numerals. The case with alabaster finial to the drum top, the demi-lune portico base with four alabaster columns, mirror back and 1/2 fan inlaid paterae to the plinth. On stepped plinth base with four alabaster bun feet. 54cm high.
An Empire, ebonised & ormolu portico mantle clock, French, 19th century. With gilt metal foliate engraved 5.5’ dial, black roman numerals. 8 day, 1/2 hr striking on a bell, with a regulator pendulum. The four ebonised columns with ormolu capitals. The plinth base with foliate pierced panel, on four ebonised bun feet. 48cm high. Mounted under rectangular glass dome with ebonised wooden plinth. Dome 60cm high.
