Louis XIV on horseback, bronze, raised on an ebonised and brass boulle marquetry inlaid plinth, mid 19th century, 32in (81.3cm) h, 22.5in (57cm) w. The original sculpture commissioned by Louis-Phillippe in 1835 can be found at the Cour d`honneur, Versailles.
