A LARGE PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY EGYPTIAN REVIVAL BRONZE AND MARBLE COLUMNS each with a classical bust mounted on tapering reeded columns with Greek key necks and bronze swag work; standing on stepped square bases with lions paw feet57.5cm high 16cm wideOne of the columns has chips and an area of restoration to the top just below the scrolled plinth. The other column has very minor chips in the same area, otherwise in very good condition, with nice patina to the bronze and good quality gilding. The marble on the base of the female bronze column has a small chip on the front and both pieces of marble on the tops of both the bronze columns have a tiny nibble on the edge. A GOOD EARLY 18TH CENTURY PRE NUMBERED OAK EIGHT-DAY LONGCASE CLOCK the 11" sqaure brass dial with gilt mask-head spandrels and silvered chapter ring engraved Roman numerals, Arabic outer minute markers and quarter hour divisions enclosing a plain polished centre with engraved date aperture and ringed winding holes. The eight-day weight driven movement with latched pillars top right and bottom left, knopped and ringed, finely turned collets and wheel work, internal countwheel strike, original bell and crutch. The oak case of good colour and patination with a deep moulded cornice to the hood above a circular fret cut frieze, ringed tapering pillars, long flush-fitting arched top door within a moulded edging and plinth base. Lacking weights and pendulum198cm high

A GOOD QUEEN ANNE ARABESQUE MARQUETRY MONTH GOING LONGCASE CLOCK the 12" square brass dial with gilt mask head spandrels, silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute markers enclosing a matted centre with seconds dial and engraved leaf work date aperture, ringed winding holes and signed chapter ring; fronting a large weight-driven month-going five-pillared movement with internal countwheel strike on a bell. The walnut case with fine scrolled leaf and bird inlays, moulded pillars to the hood beneath a fret cut frieze; the long trunk door with glazed lenticel and standing on a plinth base. Inscribed 'Wind me up" on day 31 of the calendar ring - large month going brass cased weights and pendulum.222cm high The case has been restored and the base has been rebuilt there are no losses splits or damage, it has a good colour and finish. The seatboard has been replaced and sits nicely on the cheeks and in our opinion is original to the case. The movement is original to dial and is a month duration, the dial is in good condition with the movement having recently undergone a service, although we cannot guarantee mechanical parts. Comes with brass cased weights and brass bob pendulum.

The enamel dial with Roman numerals and visible escapement, above a year calendar dial with moon phase, fronting a spring-driven eight-day movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell.41.5cm high The clock is in very good working condition, with original pendulum. The movement looks clean but we would advise a service. Bot dials are in very nice condition with no cracks or chips. There is a small chip to the front corner of the top mould on the left hand side, but there is no other damage or restoration.

AN UNUSUAL EARLY GEORGE III MAHOGANY KNEEHOLE DESK with an unusual top drawer configuration having a sliding rising surface below a moulded edge top, supported by two banks of four lockable drawers with brass swan neck handles on a moulded plinth base.70cm wide 47cm deep 81cm highin good original condition, no splits or cracks to the sides or top, three pieces of cock beading missing, the handles are modern replacements, original steel locks and good quality drawer linings. There is a small area of damage to the front left corner on the top, this has not been cut down or altered in anyway. The centre knee hole is 23cm, the draw columns are 215mm and 218mm.
