An Attractive Regency Period Drum Occasional Table. The circular top veneered in eight radial segments of olive-wood inlaid with a rosewood Maltese cross to the centre and measuring 18 ins (46 cms) in diameter. The frieze fitted with four drawers alternated with dummy drawers; all with turned button-knop handles. Standing 27½ ins (70 cms) in height on a ring-turned centre column with carved stiff leaves rising from the base and a turned collar above the triform plinth elevated on turned bun feet.

Lister, the 12in. square brass dial with Roman chapter ring, the centre chased with foliage, calendar aperture and moon phases, striking on a bell, the case with swan neck pediment, the arched trunk door flanked by quarter round columns over a plinth fielded panel, 88in. (223.5cms) high

(33cms) white dial with Roman numerals and seconds dial, the movement with deadbeat escapement and striking on a bell; the hood with a bracketed pediment mounted with later urn finials, the dial flanked by writhen pilasters, the trunk with string inlay, plain door over a deep plinth on bracket feet, 83in. (211cms) high
