A stunning Victorian burr walnut and Kingswood breakfront credenza The breakfront top crossbanded with herringbone kingswood above an ebonised and embossed gilt metal border and a frieze centred with three Sevres bleu celeste porcelain panels, the central mirrored door within a gilt metal border and crossbanding, flanked by two tapering pilasters each with gilt metal capitals and embraced by two further glazed doors each enclosing two shelves and flanked by a pair of outer pilasters, raised upon a conforming crossbanded and gilt metal plinth base, 183x110x49cm.Condition2" length of banding veneer missing from top, very small amount of rubbing in inlaid stringing, minor rubbing/wear to top. Warped gilt, metal beading on both doors on one corner, very minor 'splash' water damage to plinth, otherwise very good condition.
