A CHINESE PORCELAIN WIRED LAMP ON A ORMOLU BASE, QING DYNASTY, LATE 19TH-EARLY 20THa chinese porcelain, with converted base, figure of jolly man, with his tongue out, two tiny buns, dressed in yellow floral pants, with a black and green tunic, tied with a yellow rope, he stands in black boots with his right hand up holding a lantern with brass detailing and porcelain flowers, he stands on a grassy plinth on a ormolu plinth; overall height: 32 cm (12 5/8 in.) CONDITION In age-appropriate condition. Overall surface dust, most notably around his mouth, hands and feet. Uneven texture and paint loss visible on his tunic. Should be noted that the lamp is wired but not in working condition. Inspection under UV shows retouching to his tongue and above his right hand to his tunic. N.B. A FRENCH ONYX AND CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL PEDESTAL, CIRCA 19TH CENTURYcircular onyx top with a continuous pierced floral and foliate brass motif, set on a cylindrical support with a foliate brass motif, centered a champleve floral decorated band of light blue, dark blue, white and maroon floral motif, capped with a brass end, on a stepped square plinth with rhombus medallions on each side featuring the same motif as the band with a centered brass daisy; overall height: 80 cm (31 1/2 in.); diameter of rounded top: 41 cm (16 1/8 in.) CONDITION The pedestal appears in good condition, slight abrasions surrounding the base, minor patina around the brass details. No significant issues to report otherwise. N.B.
