A pair of French floor standing giltwood torchères with green glass shades raised on a faux marble pedestal supported by three outer carved leaf carved and fluted columns terminating to paw feet on a central turned and carved column upon a tapering curved triform plinth base 184 cm high including shades CONDITION REPORTS Both lights are slightly wobbly on the base and need attention. some small chips, losses, scratches, scuffs, marks etc throughout. Some cracks - all over various general signs of wear and tear throughout. In our opinion probably 19th century.
An early 20th Century Art Deco burr maple cocktail cabinet, the top opening to reveal a mirrored cocktail interior housing cocktail sticks and a lemon squeezer, over a single baize-lined drawer and two cupboard doors opening to reveal an interior for bottles, flanked by serpentine cupboard doors enclosing shelves with pink bakelite and white rimmed oval handles, raised on a plinth base, 152 cm wide x 107 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Condition generally good. Some light scratches and scuffs. Action on cocktail cabinet still works well. General small signs of wear and tear throughout. Unknown however, if electricals work. Approx 152 cm wide, 107 cm high and 58 cm deep
A scale model of the ship "TST Sir David Hunter", built by Fergus & Brothers Port Glasgow for South African Harbours and Railways 1906 bearing plaque inscribed as such, under a five sided glazed display case on a plinth base, 148 cm wide x 72 cm high over all CONDITION REPORTS Condition is generally good. Some light scratches throughout, general small signs of wear and tear throughout. Unable to comment on whether this is a ship builder's model or one done by a hobbyist. Unable to comment on age although it would appear the decoration on the hatches on the top of the ship are printed so this may give some idea. This item has come from a bankcruptcy job so we know no further details.
