W', the case with moulded surmount above a pair of brass handles and pierced fret panels to front, on a moulded plinth base and brass bracket feet, height 36.5cm, with pendulum. Note: S. Smith & Son(s) are recorded London clockmakers to the Admiralty, working form their Strand address between 1875 and 1918.

Note: Grimalde & Johnson are recorded London clockmakers who were in partnership between 1809 and 1825. They are best known for their small ebonized table clocks, made in limited numbers.

Maurice Guiraud Riviere (France, 1881-1947) - Equestrian sculpture a large patinated bronze of two racehorses and jockeys against a rail, the saddles numbered 7 & 10, raised on textured rectangular plinth, signed M. Guiraud Riviere, 19 3/8 x 7 7/8in. (49.2 x 20cm.), 11 1/8in. (28.3cm.) high. *Both jockeys with hairline cracks down left hand side of faces, and one looking left also with further hairline to upper left side over ear, the number 10, left hand horse with very good restoration to upper tail (looks like it's been knocked off and re-attached), the other tail with possible fracture in the same place, very pleasing to the eye.

Warry 1929', raised on ebonised plinth with silver & white metal shields representing the winners from 1911 through to 1929, together with two silver goblets, inscribed 'Doyle Golf Club', etc, weight 31.2 tr.oz. (3) * Good condition, light surface wear only, the goblets with dents etc.

(34.4cm.) high without funnel, together with original operating instructions and plan. * Not tested, appears to be in good order, very pleasing to the eye.
