A Late 19th Century French Gilt Brass Champleve Enamel Mantel Clock and Garniture, the mantel clock with gilt brass face and numeric dial, inset with Wedgwood parian panels, the clock face with Wedgwood plaque and champleve enamel surround. The clock face flanked by two free-standing champleve enamel cast columns. The clock raised on a stepped plinth with four rosette feet. The clock movement stamped Marti et Ci, Medaille d' Argent 1889, striking on a coiled steel gong. The top mounted with a decorative champleve enamel urn. The clock raised on an oval velvet and gilt wood base with glass dome. The companion Garniture of similar Wedgwood and Champleve design, depicting a classical scene, approx 30 cms, with plinth and glass domes.
