An 18th century oak food cupboard, with turned spindles, 94 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by RB Some worm, mostly to the cornice, the back is panelled, nice, dry and dirty, the interior is fitted with an elm shelf, and with an elm bottom board, the lock has been removed, with a different lock put in a different place, the key hole escutcheon is very much blacksmith made, the Hinges are worn, the left hand return cornice is split and just about hanging on, with the plinth moulding with several old repairs to it, and the right hand side bottom panel initialled T A, some of the spindles with knocks/slight loss, all appear to be matching, although the length of turning varies, which you should be able to see from the illustration, overall a pleasing colour, 90.5 cm high x 34 cm deep.

An oak chest of two short and three long graduated drawers on a plinth base CONDITION REPORTS Top is badly water marked and has areas of scratching, the front has some fading especially to the top drawers, the plinth base has some peeling to the varnish, there are a couple of paint marks to the front and plinth base, sides are wrapping slightly, there is general scrapes, knocks etc conducive with age and use See images for more details.
