A late 19th early 20th Century oak mantle timepiece With a 9cm bowfront dial signed JW Benson Ltd., London, Roman and Arabic numerals contained within a gilt brass bezel, a single train key wound lever escapement the case with an arched top, canted angles raised upon a shaped plinth base and turned feet. 17x14x8cms.
A 19th Century gilt spelter figural mantle clock With a 8cm white enamel dial with Roman numerals, the two train eight day movement with outside count wheel striking on a saucer bell, the case surmounted with an urn and flanked by children playing musical instruments raised upon a brake front plinth base. 31.5cms high x 41cms.
A Victorian Doulton Lambeth stoneware jardinière and stand The jardiniere extensively damaged signed AP the treacle glazed ground with a frieze applied with leaves and flower heads with a leafy surbase raised upon a vase shaped stand applied with leaves and flower heads with a scroll and leaf frieze leafy surbase raised upon a circular plinth base 104cm x 36cm CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1757: Jardiniere - extensively restored, a large section restored and re glued amateurishly done, approximately 15xm x 20cm with discolouration over the sunflowers and leaves some of the glaze chipped away and missing on the same area, star crack on the opposite side, the stand - the edge of the rim a piece missing approximately 7cm x 1.5cm, some discolouration to the lower baluster section where the applied leaves are, doesn't appear to have damage, probably requires cleaning.
A Minton two handled vase and cover The white ground with a ribbon tied interlaced band enclosing roses above a frieze painted with roses, gilt jewelled border with scrolling leaves raised upon a plinth base, gilt coronet and globe mark circa 1900. 21cms, a Minton's two handled vase the white fluted ground decorated with roses and pendant leaves and flowers raised upon an oval base, red coronet and the globe mark circa 1900, 15cms, a Minton's table ink well, liner and cover with a blue frieze decorated with sprays of roses and flowers, green coronet and globe mark circa 1880, 10cms, two similar decorated tea and coffee cups and saucers and a side plate (8) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1784: Two handled vase and cover - the cover, rubbing to gilt finial, crazing to the blue enamel ground, the two handled lower vase gilt bright no repairs or damage to handles, the white body overall crazing, a hairline crack running beneath the interlaced oval approx. 6cm, hairline crack running through the blue shouldered frieze enclosing the roundels with roses approx. 6cm and running in to the white lower tapering vase shaped frieze approx. 3.5cm and a second hairline crack to the same frieze, overall crazing to the blue enamel ground on the lower support and plinth, hairline crack running through the underside through the fixing central screw underneath the plinth. Two handled tapering vase decorated with roses damage to left hand handle broken and re glued traces of glue just beneath the angular shoulder and restoration to the sea scroll, lower part of handle, piece missing and glue showing, surface scratching to the white ground and some surface crazing, minor rubbing to the gilt oval foot rim. Inkwell cover and liner - the cover - possible old damage to the branch handle at the end, possibly repainted, circular stand - possibly repainted, circular stand - rubbing to the inner gilt of the inkwell holder, no cracks chips or restorations, decoration good condition, gilt work good condition with the exception of the inner part of the stand, the inkwell - good condition, minor rubbing to the inner gilt rim. Tall cup and saucer - minor rubbing to the gilt rim and the gilt on handle, saucer - minor rubbing to the rim, some surface scratching to the inner well. Wide cup and saucer - overall freckling to the white and blue ground of the cup and saucer, otherwise good condition. Small side plate - overall crackle glazing, minor chip to the blue enamel rim.
