18th Century oak longcase clock, the square hood with blind fretted decoration above a rectangular panel door on plinth base, the gilt brass dial inscribed Phillips, Bromyard, with subsidiary seconds and calendar, the two train movement striking on a bell CONDITION REPORT Dial is 11.5ins square. Appears to be original. Has an eight day movement. There have been some small fillets of wood put in around the seat boards and the case does not stand straight. There is definitely a slight lean to the left as you look at it, this is partly because the joints are loose on the plinth base (one is solid, other has gaps and is slightly dropping because of this). A good furniture restorer could sort out this problem quite easily. Weights look like replacements.
George III oak longcase clock, the square hood with flanking pilasters above a rectangular panel door and moulded plinth base, the brass dial with Arabic and Roman numerals and subsidiary date aperture, signed Whitehurst, Derby, with a two train movement striking on a bell CONDITION REPORT One weight only present. This and the pendulum appear modified.Case and movement are most likely marriedBack plate is blank - no serial number.11in door, dial

Stanford, Yarmouth, the dial corners painted with anchors, the two train movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell CONDITION REPORT 87ins high excluding finials. The clock is working currently, but we give no guarantees it will remain so.
George III figured mahogany breakfront bookcase having broken arch pediment and moulded cornice over four diamond bar glazed doors enclosing shelves, with central pull-out slide and two panel doors flanked by two banks of four short drawers with brass swan neck handles and a plinth base, 104ins high x 102ins wide x 27ins deep CONDITION REPORT Height to the top of the arch is 104 inches. Colour is actually ok, although it does appear to look washed out and not so good a colour in the photographs. It is not dark stained mahogany more like late 19th Century / Edwardian pieces but more of a medium colour with good grain variation. The photo out of the sunlight seems to be the closest match on colour that we can get with no flash on.
