A French Boulle Travelling Decanter Set, circa 1860, of serpentine rectangular form, the hinged cover enclosing a lift-out tray with four spirit decanters and stoppers and sixteen tot glasses32cm wideSome lifting to the brass on the cover, mainly at the corners. Some chipping, cracking and slight losses to the tortoiseshell. Cover hinging and closing well, no notable warping. Front right hand corner of the plinth lacking a section of beading. Lock but no key. Internal caddy lfts out and is structurally sound. One glass with chips to the rim, all other glassware free from damage, some slight clouding to decanters.
A Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock, unsigned, circa 1790, pagoda pediment, stop brass fluted columns and pilasters, 12-inch arch silvered dial with Roman numerals, seconds and date dials, arch with strike/silent selection, five pillar movement with an anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 247cm high Trunk door with small cracks, front of the plinth with scratches and small cracks, dial is discoloured, later hands, movement with a later hammer and later bell, movement needs cleaning, with pendulum and two weights.
A Victorian Figured-Walnut Wellington Chest, circa 1880, the moulded top above eight graduated mahogany-lined with turned knob handles all between lockable stiles, on a plinth base69.5cm by 47cm by 144cmThe drawers are open but there is no key. The drawer fronts and top are in reasonable condition, however, the sides have some fading and are of rather a rough finish, suggesting the varnish or polish has gone off. The moulded base with damages (as photographed). With some general scuffs that are consistent with age.

AN ASTER LIVE STEAM GAUGE 1 MODEL SCHOOLS CLASS 4-4-0 "WINCHESTER" LOCOMOTIVE AND TENDER Model no. 2205, in green and black Southern Railway livery, rolling free upon a length of track mounted on a wooden plinth base; together with an Aster catalogue featuring the model. In the late 1920s, a new design of four-coupled locomotive was required for the Hastings Line, owing to the route's tight restrictions in tunnels and tight curves. This need was met by the V class three cylinder locomotive with large 6'7" driving wheels, the most powerful 4-4-0 engine in Europe at the time of its introduction. Most engines were named after prominent boys' schools along the Southern Railway, hence "Winchester". Condition Report:Available upon request

A 3 1/2"-GAUGE LIVE STEAM COAL-FIRED 0-4-2 LOCOMOTIVE Named Tracy, in deep red and pink livery, rolling free upon a length of track affixed to an oak plinth base, the locomotive measuring approx. 60cm in length x 25cm high x 17cm wide Condition Report:"There are no items (documentation, spare parts etc.) in addition to the engine. The full extent of the lot is shown in the photographs.We are unfortunately not able to test the mechanical functionality of the engine. External aesthetic condition is generally very good, though with much surface dust and dirt to the majority of components. Paintwork is not of a high standard, with small chips in a number of areas. This may be a scratch-built model, though we are unable to confirm this. There is a Stuart pressure gauge fitted in the engine compartment. Engine rolls free on its track, the pistons having a smooth action. Much dirt and water damage to oak plinth base."
