(42.5cm.) high, impressed marks to side and front of plinth, printed marks to inner, together with a female nude figure eating apple, leaning on tree trunk, unmarked, 12in. (30.5cm.) high, and a Classical female bust. (3) * Innocence with slither to back right side and back of plinth, otherwise models appear good.

A Victorian mahogany miniature chiffonier, c.1860, arched back with open shelf, cushion moulded frieze drawer above a pair of inset shaped burr wood panelled doors, plinth base, 11 x 4¾in. (27.9 x 21.1cm.), 15in. (38.1cm.) high. * Nice patina, no key, split and repair to arched back, over all good.

(203 x 48cm.), 44in. (112cm.) high.
A well detailed Napoleonic era ships cannon on deck fitting, probably mid-century, the well detailed model with ropes, block & tackle, cannon tools, to include rammer, scraper etc., raised on rectangular planked plinth, housed under glass display, cannon barrel measuring, 8¾in. (22.2cm.) long, the whole, 15½ x 6½in. (39.3 x 16.5cm.), 7¼in. (18.5cm.) high. * Very good condition, a few tiny scratches and dings etc.

Some red filler to small chips to the underside of the bowl and the plinth.Wear to the gilt bronze nozzle where the fitting has rubbed.The gilt bronze mount to the bowl drilled with three fixing holes.Some lightening to the patination including to the edges of the drapery.A knock to the right arm of one figure.Some small blackened markings to the gilt bronze, some minor rubbing to to the edges of the angular gilt metal mounts.The stepped base with a small gap to one area so that the gilt metal and marble do not sit snugly.All this being said these details of condition are only apparent on very close inspection. A VENETIAN CARVED PINE AND FRUITWOOD DEVIL FIGURE ON A PLINTH, ATTRIBUTED TO FRANCESCO TOSO (D.1893)LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURYIn the form of a faun with 'S' shape posture, the detailed carving including the lace cravat, lapels, pockets, buttons, on a canted rectangular stepped plinth 169cm high Murano born Francesco Toso was born into a glass making family. He set up on his own making mirrors and ebonised sculptures with this distinctive style of carving and hues of wood. Toso's work was acclaimed at the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago, where Toso suddenly died. Toso's other carved sculptures included gondoliers and Punchinellos. See lot 212 of Woolley and Wallis' auction on 21 October 2020 for a pair of similar figures.
