A George III mahogany and brass mounted longcase clock, the arched cornice above an arched glazed door flanked to each side by a pair of stop fluted colulmns and fretted foliate pattern panels, the moulded and arched trunk door flanked by stop fluted chamfered corners, on a reduced panelled box base and later plinth, the associated twelve inch brass dial with subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, turned winding holes and matted centre within a silvered chapter ring, with Roman hour numerals, signed 'Tho Cackett Cranbrook', and eagle and urn pattern spandrels, with a sunburst engraved silvered boss to the arch flanked by stylised dolphin mounts, the five pillar brass and steel movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell, with alterations to movement, together with a pair of brass cased lead weights, in need of a complete overhaul, 200cm high
