Interesting Arts & Crafts large oak sideboard, the moulded top over two long drawers and a short central drawer all fitted with copper ring handles over a central arcaded recessed shelf flanked by panelled cupboard doors with rectangular stylised foliate carved panels, supported upon a plinth base raised on hexagonal side supports terminating in short circular stepped feet, 78" wide, 24.75" deep, 39" high
An early 20th century ships brass telegraph by Chadburns, Liverpool and London, the drum shaped dial with makers name to twin signed face plates and mechanical levers, the dials with commands including stop/slow, astern/ahead etc, raised upon tapering cylindrical column with riveted spreading foot on a hardwood plinth, 97cms high overall.
A platform buffer stop makers plates inscribed 'Boston Bros & Co Ltd, I.B.Boston's patient Sheffield', mounted to a mahogany plinth with plaque inscribed 'Platform Buffer Stop, Newcastle Central Station', 15cms high; together with three other railway plaques (probably recast) London & North East Railway 60952 Darlington works 1942; built 1955 Crewe; London & North East Railway 4166 1947, all mounted to single board.

•BENNO SCHOTZ RSA (SCOTTISH 1891-1984) SIR JOHN STEWART LLD (LORD PROVOST OF GLASGOW 1935-1938) Hollow-Cast bronze on black metal plinth, signed and dated 1938, 61cm (24") high, 72cm (28") (including plinth) Condition Report: On inspection the bronze has good brown patina, some quite heavy dust in areas but is in good condition with no significant issues.
