A 19th century Meissen porcelain white glazed figure of a gentleman, modelled standing and supported by a lyre plinth grasping a flower basket and rosebud, 36.6cm high and a further continental white glazed figure of an Elizabethan lady, 39cm high (2) CONDITION REPORT: The male figure shows no visible evidence of repair or restoration, but various small losses to foliage details throughout. Hairline crack (possibly a glazing fault) to the back right hand edge of the lyre form. Minor wear and surface marking throughout. The female figure is missing the finial from the back of the plinth. Both figures will benefit from cleaning.
A 19th century Meissen figure, after Michel Victor Acier, designed as a lady in classical dress seated sleeping with arm raised resting on a plinth, incised 'E58', underglazed crossed swords mark, 19cm high, with a smaller Meissen figure of a cherub, 8.5cm high (at fault) (2) CONDITION REPORT: The chair back and figure have been completely broken off at some stage, and the piece shows extensive restoration throughout with further small chips visible. The smaller figure is missing a hand and its wings.
A bronzed spelter and composition figural table lamp, modelled as a maiden, with opaque glass globe shade, on cast plinth and red marble base, 78cm high (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: Later gold coloured paint has been used, the plastic fitting for the glass globe is cracked, two of the fingers have been repaired. Both arms and the neck line have a painted detail where they meet the metal collar - it is not clear if this is original or if it is later. the arms and head may have been re-fixed to the metal body. Heavy wear to the metal finish throughout. Some chips to the base. The limbs may have been re-painted. Attention will be needed. Lighting lots are sold as decorative items only, prospective buyers must consult with a qualified electrician before use or installation of these items.
A 19th century eight day slate mantel clock, with Roman numeral chapter ring (cracked) and visible escapement, with movement striking on a bell, with domed top, on plinth base, the pendulum stamped 'Billev Brevete S.G.D.G', 49cm H CONDITION REPORT: There are some nibbles and chips to the slate around the base section. A few nibbles to the slate by the back door. There is a partially repaired chip to the chapter ring at 3 o'clock and several small hair line cracks between 2 and 3. Movement clean and bright. We can not guarantee that it is in full working order. Please note that if you are considering buying this clock, it is very heavy and this may affect your shipping quote.
