A Victorian Oak Kitchen/Lounge Dresser, moulded cornice, breakfast plate rack having central flight of three shelves flanked by opposing glazed doors with upper carving. The base having three frieze drawers, central dog kennel and flanked by opposing raised panel doors, brass handles and plinth base. 61`` wide x 82`` high x 18`` deep.
A large rhinoceros horn, early 20th Century, length approx 91cm, mounted on a period turned oak plinth. Note: this lot falls under the provisions under the antiques derogation Article 2(w) of CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) Regulation (EC) No. 338/97. This horn may be freely traded anywhere within the EU without Article 10 certificates. However, if the horn is exported to a third country outside the EU, then CITES (re-)export permits will be required and the buyer may also require CITES import permits from the importing country. This requirement is regardless of age. The exporter would need to check importer requirements with the CITES management authority of their country.
