An oak thirty hour longcase clock, signed Webster, Salop, circa 1750, flat top pediment, 10-inch brass dial with chapter ring signed, scroll engraved centre, date aperture, four pillar movement with anchor escapement and outside countwheel striking on a bell, 188cm high31.07.17, Hood with chips to the top edges, hood sides with cracks, later door side columns, trunk door with chips around the hinges, back of the trunk door with small woodworm holes, plinth with cracks and damage to the mouldings, later skirting, dial is discoloured, later movement seatboard, movement is dirty, with one weight and a pendulum.

A Victorian burr walnut and ebonised inlaid writing cabinet, with gilt metal gallery above two panelled doors enclosing stationary pigeon holes and drawers, above pull out leather tooled writing compartment and panelled door enclosing shelved interior, raised on plinth base, 112cm high x 54cm wide x 41cm deep CONDITION REPORT: Lot 528 - small scratches and nicks from use, especially to ebonised banding, biro scribbles to inside cupboard doors, lock area on left door is slightly damaged/re-glued, light stains to interior pigeon holes, light abrasions to navy skiver, small chips to walnut veneer, scratches to interior door where shelves rest against cupboard door, colour fading, couple of water marks, key present for top doors but doesn't appear to lock bottom doors, top door don't meet in middle, looks to be a strip of ebony lacking, large crack to back panel

An early 20th century mahogany break front bookcase cabinet by Spillman & Co. of London, the four glazed doors enclosing later fitted oak shelves over four solid doors, l. 197 cm“This glass-fronted mahogany bookcase was commissioned to house records relating to the Fourth Army during the period from 1916 to 1919 when General Lord Rawlinson was Army Commander. The bookcase and all contents were transferred to IWM by the Staff College Camberley, and the documents that it used to contain are part of IWM's collections (Documents.15294) and are with similar collections in archive stores. The bookcase has never been part of IWM's collections and has no interpretive or archive value as a museum exhibit so IWM and the Defence Academy Shrivenham have agreed it should be sold and any proceeds from the sale will be shared equally by both institutions and used to the benefit of their collections.” CONDITION REPORT: For restoration: heavy wear and losses, some glass broken, lacking plinth.
