French silver-plated tennis trophy consisting of a trophy bowl supported by three mesh-strung lawn tennis rackets which stand upon a circular metal base with a wooden plinth below. The wooden plinth has two engraved plaques attached. The first reads^ "En Souvenir de mes Premieres Parties en 1900 - Louise Aversenq-Villeneau" (In Remembrance of my First Parties in 1900 Louise Aversenq-Villeneau) The Second plaque read^ "Coupe Lilly - Tennis Club de St Jean D'Angely". CONDITION REPORT; Appears in good condition overall but has a small y shaped crack to back of bust (shoulder area) Rather grubby. Box is a bit tatty with staining. Height - 19cm approx.
