A Victorian mahogany slim chest of four drawers on a plinth base CONDITION REPORTS Appears to have been part of another piece of furniture previously, there are some marks to the right hand side which suggest this. There is some discolouration and water marks to the wood especially to the top and left hand side as well as several large scratches. The moulded top section appears to have been a later addition and there is a crack running down the left hand side top moulding. Handles have various chips and there has been a repair to the back right hand corner and base although this is possibly where it was converted. Approx 51 cm in depth, 88 cm in height and 42.5 cm in width. Has general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include scuffs and splits. See images for more details.
An early 20th Century mahogany open bookcase of three shelves on a plinth base CONDITION REPORTS Approx 109 cm in height x 30 cm in depth x 114 cm in length. The top has water marks and other staining as well as various scratches and discolouration. The back boards appear to have been replaced. Has general scuff marks, chips, bruises etc conducive with age and use especially to the front edges. The back boards appear to have had worm at some point. Approx 92 cm in depth x 183 cm in length and 79 cm in height - see images for further details
A 19th Century oak trunk with brass escutcheon, raised on a plinth base CONDITION REPORTS Looks like a period chest with various signs of repairs etc throughout, various splits to the top, slightly undulating top surface. lock is missing, repaired section to the back and new boards to the base. One handle is a replacement, various scratches, knocks, scuffs, chips, missing sections, splits etc throughout. Various general signs of wear and tear throughout. 106.5 cm x 59 cm x 53.5 cm tall
Istvan Komaromy Glass Figure of a Foal, raised on a green marble plinth bearing label, to lower right. Note: Istvan Komaromy was a German born Hungarian whose family glassworks in Budapest continues to produce art glass to this day. In the early 20th Century he settled in England where he opened a studio and produced beautiful examples of glass figurines, he taught at the London Slade School and in Wimbledon.
