A 19th century Continental gilt bronze covered urn, decorated with glass jewels, masks and wasps, standing on a marble plinth, together with a gilt bronze and porcelain Serves style standish, decorated with a cockerel, the bowl standing on four dolphin feet, lion mask handles, a/f, the urn 11in. (28cm.) high. (2) * Condition: Urn in good condition with three jewels missing and some minor paint wear. Dish with chip on upper rim and one ormolu handle detached.

An Italian late 19th century carved walnut neo-Renaissance style cassone, inverted breakfront form, the moulded top with lappet and egg & dart carved border, the drop-down hinged front flanked by outset drawers, deeply carved in high relief with putti, green man masks, fruiting foliate swags and a central winged lion holding a shield, within arcaded foliate and beaded borders, the sides with grotesque mask faux-ring handles, on a floral and foliate carved outset plinth base, 79½ x 23½in. (202 x 59.75cm.), 22¾in. (57.75cm.) high.
