A large pair of ormolu table lamps, probably fashioned from substantial andirons, with stylised dragon masks, swag adornment and stepped shaped plinth, height including fitment 73cm.Additional InformationThe returns on the side of the plinth bases is shaped so it appears that a section is missing to the right hand side of one and the left hand side of the other but this is purely where they would have been fixed to a fender at some stage. They are an impressive pair with general surface wear throughout.

The case cleaned and refinished throughout. some small elements of the fretwork on the hood are missing and the material backing has been over stained. The colt column mounts may be later and one is chipped. Plinth around the base is not original. Finials to the top lacking. Parts of the movement appear to be replacements.
