A 1930's Wade figure of "Christina" restraining a greyhound, on a canted rectangular plinth, with black and red stamps to base, height 29cm, a pair of Goebel Hummel ceramic wall pockets depicting children and birds in trees, height of each 16cm, and a small Irish Wade vase with floral decoration, height 9cm. CONDITION REPORT: Christina figure has considerable abrasion to the paintwork and crazing to the glaze. Wall pockets and vase are in good condition.
An 18th century oak longcase clock, the hood with moulded pediment above eleven inch square brass dial set with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, subsidiary dials and eight day movement, the chapter ring inscribed "Benjamin Reeves, Lamberhurst", above long door and plinth base, height 203cm. CONDITION REPORT: Fairly clean. Hood door needs repairing but otherwise OK.
A good burr walnut marquetry inlaid and ormolu mounted side cabinet, the stepped moulded top above frieze centred with a mask inlay and floral sprays above two doors set with ormolu mask detail flanked by caryatid uprights above a stepped plinth base, bearing plaque inscribed "William Smee & Son, Manufacturers, 6 Finsbury Pavement, London", width 128.5cm, height 110cm, depth 44cm. CONDITION REPORT: A few old dents to the top surface. Some of the veneer on the right side and left side has split (see additional images). A few old splits to veneer on front (see additional images) but generally in good condition.
A late 19th century mahogany and pine framed J.S. Fry & Sons Ltd chocolate display cabinet, the back with twin mirrored sliding doors and glazed front and side enclosing two glass shelves with title to the plinth, bearing original label to the underside "This case is supplied at less than three fourths cost on the distinct understanding that is to be used only for the display of chocolate and cocoa, manufactured by messrs. J.S. Fry & Sons, Ltd", width 70cm, height 67cm, depth 39cm. CONDITION REPORT: Glass good. Significant scuffing to the wood frame. Has been kept badly but fairly solid throughout. Two later glass shelves both with chipped corners.
A vintage William Crawford & Sons Ltd biscuit tin in the form of a sun dial on a stepped plinth, decorated with foliage climbing up brick work, and inscribed "No man can tether time or tide", height including gnomon 24cm, and a tea tin in aid of Cub Scouts, featuring a picture of a tea clipper, height 12cm (2).
