A 14th century style North European boxwood group of the Virgin and Child, Mary draped in robes and wearing a silver-gilt crown, the Christ child holding a book, on a Gothic style octagonal silver-gilt plinth base, 31.7cm high, together with a 19th century Swiss limewood carving of a knight, 17cm high. An antique oak deuddarn, the upper section with pair of panel doors carved '1677' and with initials 'HLE', above a base with pair of doors and further door below to a plinth base, width 127cm, height 170cm. CONDITION REPORT Age-related wear, some evidence of old woodworm. Handles replaced, age-related chips, mostly in top of cupboard.
