A PAIR OF GOOD QUALITY EARLY 20TH CENTURY CHINESE CARVED IVORY MODELS OF BUDDHISTIC LIONS, together with fitted wood rectangular stands, each stand with a green-stained pierced ivory gallery, each buddhistic lion standing on a double lotus plinth and with an archaic seal to its base, the ivories on their stands 6.5in high overall, the stands 3.6in x 3.5in x 1.9in high, the ivories themselves 4.75in high.
A GOOD QUALITY SINO-TIBETAN BRONZE FIGURE OF BUDDHA, together with a fitted hardwood display case with silk lining and a fitted stand with patterned fabric covering, the buddha seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus plinth, the base with a double vajra, the case 13.6in high x 10.6in wide x 8.25in deep, the buddha itself 6.4in high.
A 19th century Bechstein rosewood grand piano, on octagonal tapered legs, serial no: 2959, length including keyboard 197cm. Condition Report: The rosewood carcass is badly faded and down the left side the veneer bulging in places. The turned wooden lid release handle is chipped and the plinth edging around the bowed end has come apart. There is some water damage to the lid and repairs to the casing either side of the keyboard. The serial number has been found underneath on the carcass NO number seen on the frame.
A pair of Victorian ruby glass and floral enamelled and gilt decorated table lustres with glass domes on ebonised plinth bases (being sold due to non-payment of account - ex. 18th December 2015 auction) CONDITION REPORTS Height of domes including bases approx 52cm. One dome is broken and sellotaped. table lustres themselves have some light general wear and scuffs and some slight rubbing to gilding, and some chips to the hanging lustres, but overall appear reasonably good. Wooden bases and fabric is very worn, scuffed and dirty.
