The top is scratched and there are some deep indents to it. Overall in good condition. A little bit of missing trim to the left-hand door and a large section running down the right-hand door is missing. Various bumps, scratches and knocks commensurate with age.

The hood with projecting cornice above a blind fretwork frieze, ebonised moulded hood pilasters and glazed side windows above a convex throat moulding and floral panelled full length door with oval lenticle, on a matching panelled box base and moulded plinth raised on bun feet.229cm overallThe case has been restored, there are splits across the cleats on the trunk door, the cheeks to the case have been blocked up under the seatboard, then movement is original to dial but associated to the case. The bell is missing to the movement, otherwise is complete but will require attention. The hour hand is original, minute hand later. Dial still retains its original building, the silvering is worn to the chapter ring. Comes with weights and pendulum.

Small piece of moulding missing from the arch of the hood door. The dial has stress cracks and also a hole at two o'clock, the second hand is missing. The movement is original to case and is complete but is dirty and will need an overhaul. Comes with pendulum but no weights. Height- 224.5cm
