Stinton" opposed by a vignette of a mountainous landscape on stiff leaf gilt heightened spreading foot and plinth base, puce printed marks, numbered 1937, date code for 1920, height 19.5cmOne of the gilt acanthus leaf handles has a loss to a raised area and damage around it, there appears to be an area of overpainting. The gilding is a little patchy in some areas. Light surface wear and dirt all over.The vase has gilt wear on the wreath around the neck and a small chip on one of the handles. The rim has small scratches and imperfections. There are production imperfections on the round base of the vase as it meets the square base. The piece would benefit from a clean.

Pair of late 19th Century boulle and gilt metal mounted ebonised pier cabinets, each with rectangular top over applied gilt metal cast frieze and red tortoiseshell boulle panel, the central door mounted with floral painted porcelain plaques within gilt metal mounts enclosing velvet lined shelved interior flanked by gilt metal terms and vertical conforming boulle panels, on plinth base with shaped apron, 82cm x 35cm x 112cm high, (2)Both of the tops have heavy scratches and patches where the lacquer has come off. The red decoration on both pieces has small pieces missing. The gilt inlay is coming away in several places on both. Both doors have veneer missing close to the bottoms. The inside of one of the doors is missing a strip of veneer around 15cm long. There is mold present on both pieces all over the outside except the tops. One of the bases has two large chips and a crack around 20cm long. This same one, the finish on one side has deteriorated leaving a series of lumpy lines in the lacquer.

Bearing the Makers name stamped to the leading edge of the top lock. 50 cm overall width x 40 cm overall depth x 124 cm overall heightCharon Freres is recorded as working together between 1855-1860 they exhibited items of "Boulle" bedroom furniture at the Grand Exhibition of 1855. After 1860 the brothers dissolved their partnership but continued to make furniture individually.The Boulle panel on the top has some missing elements of brass inlay and shows some shrinkage to the tortoiseshell and some lifting brass.The sides remain un split and the register bars lock as they should by locking the top drawer and the key is present, structurally it is in good order but will need some remedial work to the top.

A Dutch marquetry inlaid mahogany pedestal chest of six short drawers, early 19th century, flanked by a pair of simple columns, decorated throughout with bands of scrolls flowers and flowering censors, on a simple plinth foot. 102 cm wide x 50 cm deep x 138 cm overall height.Both sides have cracks in the panels, the top also has some old historical cracks and marks from heavy objects being place on the top.The chest has surprisingly few missing marquetry elements mostly at the sides and typically small bits of stringing .The drawers are brown oak lined and run but will need the stops sorted out, no keys are present for any of the locks the odd very small chip to the edge of the veneer see images.The drawers all have matching handlesThe back is a stile and panel backThe plinth of the flanking pilasters on the right-hand side is missing its end skirt moulding see images for clarification
