A Fine French Louis XVI Style Clock Set of unusual striated salmon pink marble and gilt bronze. The clock having a convex enamel dial signed E. Duval decorated with delicate floral swags and having pierced & engraved pointers. The case surmounted by an urn with fluted half columns capped by flaming finials either side leading down to a D-ended plinth bases raised on gilded feet and embellished with fine gilt mounts, 14½ ins (47 cms) high. The four light candelabra having scrolling gilt branches emanating from a central urn raised on rams headed monopods leading down to round base platforms, 15 ins (38 cms) in height.
A Pair of Fine Quality 19th Century Louis XV Style Kingwood Side Cabinets inlaid with stringing and adorned with `Sèvres` style porcelain plaques hand-painted with romantic scenes and floral bouquets. The upper sections having a glazed door displaying a shelved, mirror-backed interior. Attributed to Daniel Gardner. A Late 18th/Early 19th Century Gouache & Bodycolour on Paper; a full length portrait of Miss Elizabeth Anne Hall (1775-1856) depicted wearing a white dress with blue waistband and matching mob-cap, holding the paws of a spaniel which stands on a plinth. Attached to the reverse are old noted containing details that the previous owners once believed it to be a Gainsbrough until as recently as 1952, the year in which another note states that it was identified by the `art experts Appelby Brothers` as being by Daniel Gardner. 20 ins x 16 ins (51 cms x 41 cms). The urn hand-painted with broad bands of pink roses around the shoulders and in vertical stripes down the tapering body divided by gilt bands; with a fan of stiff leaves rising from the pedestal base above a square simulated green marble plinth. The bell shaped cover ornamented with similar roses and surmounted by a gilded fircone finial, 30 ins (77 cms) in height.
A Fine Charles X Ormolu Mantel Clock. The clock set into a rocky surround and surmounted by the reclining figure of a lady dressed in fine flowing robes with a plumed turban and holding a hand mirror. The bulging rectangular plinth base embellished with ornate scrolls of flowers & seed heads defined against a matted ground with a swan to the centre and leafy fronts adorning the swept corners above outswept scroll feet, 19¾ ins (50 cms) high, 14 ins (36 cms) in width.
A Fine Regency Rosewood Bookcase. The upper section having a moulded cornice above decorative scrolled corbels flanking two cupboard doors enclosing adjustable shelves within. The door panels clad in crimson silk behind gilt brass grilles of latticework straps ornamented with cruciform adornments. The base section having two moulded panel doors and housing further shelves, standing on a plain plinth base 88 ins (224 cms) high, 53½ ins (136 cms) wide, 17½ ins (45 cms) deep.
A 19th Century William IV Rosewood Chiffonier. The back having a single shelf raised on turned columns below a top rail edged in ovolu moulding with carved flower heads issuing scrolls of foliage adorning the rounded ends. The breakfront cupboard with recessed panel door flanked by pilasters capped with bands of lotus leaves and flanked by open shelves either side. Standing on a plinth base 52¾ ins (134 cms) high, 54 ins (137 cms) wide, 17 ins (43 cms) deep.
A Fabulous Late 16th/Early 17th Century Spanish Walnut Vargueno on Stand. The fall front opens out to reveal an architectonic fitted interior with eleven graduated drawer fronts all similarly fashioned with projected arcading emphasised by barley-twist columns; the inlaid panels of ivory painted to simulate faceted ovals and diamonds with fine gilt interlinked borders centred by protruding iron scallop shell handles. Two doors with twin scroll pediments flanking similarly ornamented drawers that incorporate secret sliding compartments. The solid walnut carcass adorned with gilt open strap-work panels & an impressive central lock plate with a twin column pinnacled clasp. The trestle stand incorporating two large scallop shell lopers that slide out to reveal the carved monogram HR. The two spiral twisted and fluted baluster legs united by an arcaded support adjoining bracket plinth feet with gilt scroll terminals. 57 ins (145 cms) in height, 41½ ins (106 cms) in width, 20 ins (51 cms) in depth.
A Large 19th Century London Made Mahogany Bookcase stamped JAMES WINTER & SON 101 WARDOUR ST. (Recorded working from 1823-1840). The upper section having three glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves below a moulded cornice. The base section with three flame figured panelled doors opening to reveal further shelves and standing on a plain plinth base 98 ins (249 cms) high, 73 ins (186 cms) wide, 19½ins (50 cms) deep.
A George IV Mahogany Server Circa 1825, Attributed to Gillows, of fabulous quality & fine timbers. The moulded solid mahogany one-piece top surmounted by an entablature carved with a marriage crest flanked by a blind fret-carving. The fret-carving repeated along the frieze and centred by a small panel enriched with a cluster of swagged flowers & foliage. Standing on wonderful, imposing cabriole legs with foliate crested C-scrolls adorning the inner hips, acanthus lappets to the outer hips leading down to voluted scroll feet raised on square plinth terminals. 54 ins (137 cms) wide, 27 ins (69 cms) deep and 46 ins (117 cms) in height.

Early 18th Century longcase clock, the later oak case having a moulded cornice with cylindrical columns, trunk with short door with Gothic mouldings, standing on a plinth base, the period square brass dial having spandrels depicting cherubs flanking a crown, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, signed Joseph Thomson, Cirencester, the unusual probably adapted 30 hour brass movement having a double frame and striking on two bells, 214cm high.

A George I walnut eight-day longcase clock, William Graham, London, early 18th century, the five finned-pillar rack and bell striking movement with 12 inch brass break-arch dial with star-engraved subsidiary seconds dial, calendar aperture and ringed winding holes to the matted centre within an applied silvered Roman numeral chapter ring with Arabic five minutes and lozenge half-hour markers, the angles with Indian mask and scroll pattern spandrels beneath arch centred with a silvered signature boss W"m Graham, London within engraved lappett borders and flanked by unusual cornucopia cast spandrels, the case with later cast brass foliate urn finials to the domed caddy raised on blind fret fronted upstand above moulded cornice, further fret infill and integral columns to hood, the trunk with rectangular door and sides divided into panels, on book-matched veneer fronted plinth base with double skirt, 241cm (7ft 11in) high excluding finials, 253cm (8ft 3.5in) high overall. William Graham is recorded in Baillie G.H. Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World as working in London circa 1728. A mahogany partners pedestal desk, in George III style, circa 1900, the rectangular top with moulded edge and gilt tooled green leather inset, above an arrangement of nine drawers, the opposing side with three frieze drawers above two panelled cupbaord doors enclosing a shelf, on plinth bases, 78cm high, the top 214cm x 152cm Provenance: Wormsley Park; this is possibly the desk referred to in the schedule of furniture at Wormsley dated 1964.
