A parian figure, after Carrier Beleuse, modelled as classical female with draped robes seated upon a plinth below a full cornucopia of flowing flowers, figure clutching a pair of collared doves one she is embracing, on a circular spreading base, signed A Carrier, 45 cm highFigure would benefit from a clean. Multiple dark spots present across the surface (likely dirt). Several small chips and very small hairline cracks to the fabric drapes. Very small chips to the hair. No obvious cracks, large chips or signs of restoration. The name A Carrier is present on the back of the figure. Overall in good condition.
