~ A Drop Dial Striking Wall Clock, signed W.Potts & Sons, Leeds, late 19th century, elaborately carved case with flower heads and leaf decoration, side doors, trunk with pendulum window, 14-inch painted dial with Roman numerals and signed, twin fusee movement with an anchor escapement and rack striking on a gong, 107cm high see illustration 07.06.19. Case surfaces are slightly rubbed in parts, plinth is slightly faded, small scratches in parts, three original wooden side pegs are missing but we have since had three made so therefore now complete, bottom right head door with chips, dial is discoloured and with scratches, small chips around the winding holes, letters and numerals are faded, movement is dirty, with pendulum. ~ An Oak and Mahogany Oval Shaped Dial Eight Day Longcase Clock with Windmill Automata, signed Wainwright, Nottingham, No.5, circa 1780, swan neck pediment, Corinthian capped columns, mahogany crossbanded trunk door, 14-inch silvered oval shaped dial signed and numbered, dial centre with an engraved landscape scene and a windmill automata, moonphase aperture inscribed above ''Time Sheweth The Way Of Mans Decay'', four pillar movement with an anchor escapement and striking on a bell, later case, 241cm high 05.06.19. Later case, hood with chips and detail moulding missing in parts, one piece of veneer is missing around the hood door, hood door with chips and small cracks, trunk with beading missing and one piece of crossbanding, plinth with scuff marks and small pieces of later veneers in parts, dial slightly discoloured, later wooden side cheeks, later wooden dial surround, movement looks complete, in going order, with two weights and a pendulum.

Hood sides with cracks and one piece of veneer is missing, trunk and plinth with small dents, plinth with chips and scuff marks, dial with scratches, winding holes with minor chips, movement looks clean and complete.

Case is faded in parts, later inlay, pediment with chips and later finials, hood with later wooden sound frets, case with cracks in parts, later skirting and later feet, front of the plinth with one later piece of beading added, front panel is slightly lifting and slightly bowed, wooden dial surround is missing, dial is discoloured, seconds hand is missing, later seatboard, small wooden blocks added to both side cheeks, movement needs cleaning.
An Early 18th Century Walnut Longcase Clock, signed Roger Penton, circa 1710, later caddy pediment, pierced blind fret work panels, side viewing windows, well figured trunk door with moulded borders, re-built plinth, 12-1/4-inch square brass dial with a silvered chapter ring signed, matted dial centre with seconds dial and date aperture, crown and cherub spandrels, five latched pillars, anchor escapement, outside countwheel striking on a bell, 266cm high see illustration 06.06.19. Case with a later built caddy pediment, case needs restoration throughout, hood door with later hinges, wooden dial surround is later, hood with chips and cracks to veneers and some veneers are missing, trunk door with cracks to the top and bottom sides, half of the trunk door moulded edges are missing, plinth has been re-built, backboard is patched to the top and bottom sides, dial is dirty, movement with one dial foot not locating into the movement front plate, movement needs cleaning, with two weights and a pendulum.
An Impressive Inlaid Carved Chiming Longcase Clock, signed John Lewis, London, circa 1900, swan neck pediment, Corinthian capped columns, case back sides finely carved with flower heads, griffins head and scroll decoration, finely inlaid canted sides, inlaid trunk door with swag and musical instruments, urn and floral inlaid recessed plinth, raised upon a carved plinth and paw feet, 17-inch arched brass dial with a silvered chapter ring signed, two selection levers at 3 and 9 for chime on eight bells/chime on four bells and chime/silent, arch with moonphase, triple weight driven movement, chiming on a nest of eight bells and striking the hours on a larger bell, 251cm high see illustration 06.06.19. Hood right hand side sound fret with one small piece of fret missing, case sides with small staining marks, case with scratches and dents in parts, dial is slightly discoloured, movement plates are dirty and needs a service.

~ Royal Horse Guards Interest: A Cast Silver Model of a Soldier Riding a Donkey, maker's mark RHC, London 1968, also signed with indistinct monogram and dated 1969, the male figure in combat uniform and beret, holding a pair of binoculars to his chest, on marble plinth base inscribed Blue on Bluesmoke to one side and Cyprus 1958 the other, the front hooves inscribed RHG and 1958, 31cm high The cavalry unit was often to be seen on ''Donkey Patrol'' whilst deployed in Cyprus between 1956-59, managing to otherwise avoid alerting insurgents to their approach, rather than using the armoured vehicles provided.
