Victorian Coldstream Guards Drum Major’s Regimental Pattern Mace. A superb and rare example. A malacca shaft surmounted by a brass mushroom top, this mounted with a silver & enamel Garter Star and a sphinx resting upon a plinth with the Battle Honour Eygpt. Also a VR cypher within a wreath. Around the edge are silvered ribbons bearing Battle Honours of the Regiment. To the top a Royal Crown (orb absent). The shaft retains the silver plated chains and brass chape. Overall condition is good, but with some service and age wear.

Each Officer is depicted on horse back, Lord Roberts wearing Wolsely pattern forgin service helmet and Khaki Drill uniform. Lord Baden Powell wearing his famous “Lemon Squeezer” pattern hat, his right arm held hight with sword at the ready. Each mounted onto thier orioginal ebonized plinth with title plaque. Joseph Batty Halifax 18th / 19th Century Grandfather long case Clock: This is a stunning, carved oak cased long case / grandfather clock. Mounted on corner feet, the plinth is surmounted by a cantered, panelled base with the main body rising to a stepped hood, all of which is carved with symmetrical heavy decoration. The hood has brass base and capital pillars and carved edging enclosing a silver gilded etched dial and chapter ring with date rings within. The time increments are primarily roman numerals with secondary Arabic depiction. With a Moon feature
