A 19th Century (probably French) brass cased four glass mantle clock the case with two single doors, four reeded columns on plinth base. The circular white enamel chapter ring with black Roman numerals, the recessed central section with two winding apertures and visible escapement. The movement striking on a bell with solid brass pendulum. The backplate stamped H. P. & Co., with serial numbers 2606 and 23627, 31cm high x 18cm x 13.5cm
A 19th Century carved ivory horse with saddle and reins set with cabochon cut turquoise and coral set upon it's rear, raised on a hardwood plinth base, 10.5 cm high, excluding base CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear and scuffs and some yellowing and browning, some splits including to flank and saddle and to underside (please see photos), stand with general wear and scuffs and has a varnished finish
A 19th Century Sienna marble Grand Tour souvenir inkwell in the form of the Tomb of Scipio, 16.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear and scuffs, inkwell may have originally had a further base and/or plinth which is now missing, as there appears to be some chips, roughness and filler to underside, lid is broken in two and crudely re-glued, overall with various knocks and chips to edges and corners.
An early 18th Century walnut cased longcase clock, the arched hood with blind fretwork frieze above an arched glazed panelled door flanked by turned tapering brass capped pilasters, the main body with arched panelled door and feather banding on similarly decorated base with plain plinth, the arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring, Arabic and Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture on a matted ground within mask head and applied floral scrolling spandrels, to the arched strike/silent dial with applied dolphin and floral scroll decoration to an eight day striking movement on a bell, inscribed "John Ellicot, London", 244 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS Hands with some mis-shaping and scratching. Not known whether movement is in working order. Case with new mouldings to base and door, various areas of patched in veneer, movement appears to be OK but strike silent has been altered, brass cased weights, case with general wear and scuffs, numerous areas of age splits and cracks to the veneers (probably due to movement in carcass and to ageing/drying) including a lot of splits around the base, to door, sides, etc. Several areas of moulding missing and several areas of moulding warped and/or lifting, some areas of veneer missing. Some losses to the carcass to rear. Various cracks, splits and losses to the carved frieze to the hood and some sections of moulding missing. Some wear and scuffs to dial with scratches and tarnish. This lot is from a private vendor and was inherited from grandparents as a family piece by the current vendor. Ellicot is spelt with one t on the inscription to the dial.
A Victorian mahogany breakfront sideboard, the raised back with carved pilasters and urn shaped finials over a plain top with moulded edge over a central drawer flanked by two arched panelled cupboard doors, one with shelf and cellerette, the other with drawer and sliding shelf raised on plinth bases, approx 215 cm wide
A longcase clock, the 25 cm square brass dial with Roman numerals, signed Richard Gilkes Adderbury, fitted an eight day movement, in a carved oak case, 241 cm high See illustration Condition report Report by RB Very much in a market fresh condition, it has probably been barn or attic stored for a number of years, and has clearly not run for some time, the seat board is later, and sits on supports which have also been altered/adapted/changed, the case needs polishing/cleaning, the back board is wormed, it has been raised further with an added plinth, just with a single weight (no key or pendulum). Requires total restoration.
A longcase clock, the 30 cm square brass dial with a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, signed Henry Deykin Worcester No 1451, fitted an 30 hour movement, in an oak case, 205 cm high See illustration Condition report Report by RB The dial has probably been cleaned at some point, now appears to be finished in a yacht type varnish, with the gilt spandrels painted probably from a can of gold spray, the seat board probably later, the case, the backboard is crudely/poorly repaired and strengthened, the door has a later lock, and the plinth base is split/repaired, with a trunk door key, a pendulum, and a (rectangular) weight.
Early 18th Century marquetry inlaid walnut and ebonised longcase clock by Richard Colston of London, the square hood with moulded cornice, glazed door flanked by tapered plain pillars, trunk with long door with oval lenticle and standing on a plinth base, square brass dial with silvered chapter ring having Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial with Arabic numerals and calendar aperture, eight day striking movement, 209cm high Condition Report: Case - generally good, door has a split running all the way across the marquetry panel approximately 3cm from the top, there are also several areas of filler in the same place, there is a similar area with a split and filler at the bottom of the door, the Since cataloguing this item we have been advised that this is a month movement. The clock does wind anti-clockwise and has larger weight. Please see the images or TELEPHONE the department to satisfy yourself.
19th Century French inlaid rosewood and beech cased portico clock, the white enamel dial set within a cast brass frame and having Roman numerals, conforming cast brass grid-iron pendulum, brass movement striking on a bell, 45.5cm high Condition Report: Case - chip to upper right of pediment, similar chip to lower right of plinth, a little rough around the whole of the extreme lower edge of the plinth where there would most probably have been a piece of thin moulding, probably originally had brass feet.

Dial - silvering a little rubbed in places - This is a cosmetic report only we do not comment

Pair of Chinese bronze figural candlesticks, each formed as a Crane standing on top of a tortoise and having a rectangular white marble plinth, overall height 42cm Condition Report: One of the Cranes feet appear to have been re-attached to the legs by araldite glue in their sockets so not actually a break, one of the mounts where the candle branch descends through a hole secured by a screw from below has an area of the mount missing

A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH ORMOLU AND ROSE POMPADOUR PORCELAIN MANTEL CLOCK BY GAY VICARINO & CO OF PARIS, the rectangular case surmounted with doves, trophies and wreath, within an acanthus leaf border, the dial and panels painted with cherub, Venus and Cupid, and ribbon-tied garlands and trophies, twin lion mask and ring handles to the sides, on a laurel leaf base raised on a plinth cast with panels of vitruvian scrolls and on toupie feet; the pendulum movement striking the hour and half hour on a bell, stamped to the movement G.V and to the movement and case No. 13815, complete with a velvet lined giltwood stand, clock 29cm high, overall 32.5cm high.
