A VERY FINE ALEUTIAN ISLANDS CARVED IVORY POLAR BEAR, 20TH CENTURY. Depicted in upright stance, raised on a finger molded oval plinth with engraved figure of a seal and three sockets, probably to serve as a flag holder. Together with a carved ivory walrus figure and figure of a Common Eider bird. Height 4.75 inches (12 cm) and 2.5 inches (6 cm).
