A fine George II ebonised bracket timepiece by John Everell, LondonCirca 1750 The case with a brass knopped swing handle above a caddy top and a six inch gilt metal break arch dial signed John Everell, London with Roman and Arabic numerals and applied with scrolling foliate and human mask openwork spandrels, the clock with a single fusee movement and pull repeat on two bells with a verge escapement and a back plate ornately engraved with a bird amongst scrolling foliage.
