A Pair of Patinated Bronze Models of Elephant's Heads, 74cm high incomplete, possibly originally bases for console tables. One is mounted to a plinth, the other is not the one that is mounted as three later drilled balls to the reverse of the trunk, both with some superficial marks where and slight dents no serious damage.

There is some emulsion paint to a part of the right hand side of the cupboard door and to the right hand side of the base, which will need removing. A George III Irish mahogany long case clock, the brass break arch dial with sea serpent and urn spandrels, silver chapter ring bearing Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, eight day two train movement with bell strike, the break arch hood surmounted with an urn and eagle, with fluted columns, the case trunk of plain form, raised on a plinth base, with pendulum and key, 244cm high.

A George III mahogany eight day chiming longcase clock, the arched 12 inch brass dial with silvered eagle and tempus fugit plaque over Roman chapter ring and subsidiary seconds, H.7ft 9in.CONDITION: Case of very good rich dark reddish mahogany tone and looks honest and untouched for many years, minor cracks and small faults throughout, more notable faults include scratching and scuffing of the trunk door where it rubs at the bottom, right side with a rather matted finish and would benefit from repolishing, trunk door lock is a later replacement and no key present, the plinth is a later replacement, dial and movement look to be in very good clean condition with no faults noted, although quite probably the movement is somewhat later being associated to the case, comes with three cast iron weights and a brass pendulum, not tested for timekeeping.
A William IV rosewood dwarf bookcase, with moulded top and four foliate capped columns dividing the adjustable shelves, on plinth foot, W.6ft 6in. D.1ft 5in. H.3ft 6in.CONDITION: Overall a little evenly faded with a slightly dull finish, top suffers from old scuffs and scratches and a split running through the grain from the right handside, the right handside is slightly more faded than elsewhere, comes with two adjustable central shelves and six adjustable side shelves, right hand side has two very small holes drilled into it half way down, plinth a little scuffed but overall but for the need of a repolish in good condition.
Brault. An Art Deco patinated bronze model of a prowling panther, with light green brown patination, on variegated marble plinth, width 29.5in. height 8.5in.CONDITION: Honest original untouched condition, some minor dirt specks and very light rubbing to the bronze but overall very good, minor nicks to the front two corners of the plinth.
A French Art Deco bronzed spelter table lamp, modelled as a kneeling dancer holding aloft a spherical marbled glass globe, on black marble plinth, height 21in.CONDITION: Metal figure had a golden bronze patination in the main but much of this has now been rubbed down to a darker blackish ground metal colour, in addition there are some light surface scuffs and scrapes, the globe may well be the original, certainly fits well and does look a little dirty, plinth very dusty but otherwise good.
After Pierre Jules Mene. A bronze group of a ghillie, pony and hounds, width 23in. height 20in.CONDITION: This is a late 20th century copy, the casting is reasonable but not fine, overall of a dull chocolate brown patination but raised sections such as the top of his hat and back of the horse have been polished to a light golden tone, white paint or dirt marks are scattered around the head of the fox and other crevices, on a black marble plinth.
An early 19th century cast iron model of a lion standing with it's foot upon a brass ball, on marble plinth and further ormolu mounted simulated marble plinth, width 15in. height 9.25in.CONDITION: Fairly crisply cast particularly so for cast iron, possibly at one time gilt but now showing traces of gold paint in the recesses, the brass ball is slightly dented and scuffed, and the black marble plinth may well be a later replacement and has two wire connections to the lion's feet sticking out the bottom, these are concealed by the lower plinth, the ormolu is rather dirty and matted and looks to have had some retouching with gold paint, lower part of the plinth is black slate which has been cold painted to look like marble and has some chipping particularly at the front right corner.
A Louis XVI style bronze and ormolu fender, with putto and foliate scroll terminals, length 48in. height 24in.CONDITION: Light wear and general oxidisation to all of the gilt work, bronze putti of a dark blackish patination again with some rubbing and oxidisation to the scrolls that they hold, lower plinth section of a plain bronze colour with some spotting.
A William IV rosewood marble topped side cabinet, width 184cm, depth 45cm, height 129cmCONDITION: The marble top is marked and bruised and there is a loose piece of moulding from the left side which is present. The right hand central door is slightly discoloured, the plinth foot is scuffed with some losses to the left side
French Bronze Column Form Thermometer of the Place Vendome in Paris with Napoleon Stadning Atop the Spiralling Column with Black Marble Plinth. The original column was started in 1806 at Napoleon's direction to celebrate the victory of Austerlitz, and completed in 1810. The spiralling column is covered in 425 bas-relief bronze plates constructed out of cannons taken from the combined armies of Europe. Height: 10.25 in.
After Pierre-Jules Mene (1810-79) a bronze sculpture 'L' Accolade No2' (The Embrace No2) signed P J Mene on marble plinth. L'Accolade is one of Mene's most famous works, first exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1852 with the title 'Tachiani and Nedjesu' depicting a courting Arab mare and stallion. This is the largest of the three sizes in which L'Accolade was cast. 59cm long, 42cm high. Estimate £350-500.
