Joseph Kaffsack (German 1850-1890), a painted terracotta figurine, modelled as a travelling woman slicing up a piece of fruit, carrying two children on her back, raised on an ebonised wooden plinth with Arabic script, incised 'Kaffsack' and numbered 581 to the base, with copyright mark stamped to the rear of the plinth, 74cm highCondition report: With some rubbing and marks to the plinth. Some stains to the figurine. No detected damages or repairs.
A vintage Art Deco oak and brass framed desktop calendar of simple form having a four turning brass knobs atop with calendar below, the calendar having additional knobs for marking out the days that have been in red. Once having a silverplate front with marks for Manco Plate Pat No. 9964. All raised on an oak plinth base. Wear commensurate with age mostly to the interior calendar, overall good. Measures approx; 15cm x 20cm x 6cm.
