A mid 19th century green painted house keepers cupboard (in two sections) 117cm by 50cm by 240cm . Structurally the cupboard is sound save for the plinth that needs some attention. The main doors are binding on the plinth and this would be resolved once the plinth had been repaired. Period decoration now has a very pleasing wear and patina. With original key but this is stuck in the top lock. Internal fittings including two drawers are intact. Expected wear and superficial marks throughout as expected.

A 19th century Irish urnCondition Report: There is a small area of very minor rim fritting to the lip of the bowl. To the inside of the bowl there is a 2cm mouth-shaped piece which has been ground away - indicating previous damage. original air bubbles are visible in the lower urn-shaped section, the square-shaped plinth base has the pontil ground quite a way from the centre and exhibits scratches commensurate with age and in one corner has sustained a chip. One of the other corners also sustained a slight chip and has been ground away. The cover also slight rim fritting to the inside of the lip although appears to be in reasonably good condition otherwise. The faceted tip of the finial may have also sustained minor damage. The piece is not perfect
Bronze giltTibet or Nepal, 12th to 13th centuryDimensions: Height 14 cmWeight: 1793 gramsA solemn depiction of a Buddha in meditation, showing the gesture of calling the earth to witness, bhumipharsa mudra, also known as the subduing of demon Mara. Attached to a square plinth, the Buddha is sitting with his legs crossed in lotus position. He is dressed in a robe with beaded brim draped over his left shoulder and bottom fanning out underneath his ankles. The eyes are closed in deep meditation. A hairline separates the tiny curls from the forehead, and he is wearing a simple crown with a jewel in the center and over the ears.
Bronze gilt with silver inlaysTibet, 18th centuryDimensions: Height 18 cmWeight: 241 gramsUnusual shrine of a Bodhisattva on a rectangular plinth with decorative bands, open-work support with stone inlay at the center and a round reverse lotus base with beaded rim. The Bodhisattva is seated cross-legged with soles of feet showing, wearing flowy garments covering the legs. The shoulders are also dressed with decorative robes, the upper body seems to be dressed in aristocratic clothes with a chest-armour and puffy sleeves. The hands are raised in front of the chest, showing the dharmachakra mudra. The face looks juvenile with a light smile and downcast eyes, earlobes elongated. The Bodhisattva is wearing a pompous crown of stone inlay. He is surrounded by a big flaming aureole with additional stone inlay, his head also bears a halo in the same fashion with a lotus flower at the top center. The back of this outstanding bronze is relatively plain.
SilverTibet, 16th centuryDimensions: Height 9 cmWeight: 266 grams with baseIn Tibetan Buddhism this is a wrathful emanation of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, here standing in wide stance on a plinth. Mahakala is dressed in a short dhoti, wearing a skull garland, anklets and with bare feet. His two hands are holding a skull cup or kapala and a crescent-shaped knife or chopper. His face is grim with a broad nose and bulging eyes and a third eye on the forehead. His crown of five skulls encloses a second head of a Mahakala with fierce face, skull crown and wild hair.
Bronze rest gilt, face lacqueredChina, 18th centuryDimensions: Height 25 cm by 15 cm Weight: 1895 gramsA very well preserved bronze Buddha from China with lacquer remains on the face. The Buddha is seated on a double lotus flower on an oval plinth with ornamental relief in the center front. The Buddha is gesturing the bhumispharsa mudra, calling the earth to witness. He is dressed in an elaborate robe with decorative brim over a long undergarment fastened at the waist with an ornamental band and bow. The face is round and fleshy with two necklines, the eyes are downcast, the lips and nose are small, the earlobes slightly elongated. The head and relatively small ushnisha are covered in tiny curls. The Buddha bronze is hollow.

He is wearing a necklace, earrings and a high tiara. He is surrounded by a flaming aureole. The bronze is attached to a wooden plinth.
