CONDITION REPORT: Case has been restored at some point, along with dial. The movement has been mounted on a later board, indicates movement and clock are a marriage. Board behind the clock dial missing and glass from hood door missing. Has weight and pendulum. Working condition unknown.

D'ORLEANS, N 794, with Roman numeral, fitted an eight day movement striking on a bell, in an ormolu case, the base surmounted a female figure holding a mask and playing a tambourine, the clock surmounted a winged helmet and musical instruments, the base decorated a facemask and foliage on a plinth, 31 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by GHSome damage to the enamel around the right hand winder. Enamel also scratched across the middle and with a small hairline crack to the top left. Otherwise case generally a little grubby but in good condition.Movement untested but appears to be in good, clean condition and appears complete. No key. Measurement across the dial including the bezel is 13 cm.
A 19th century black lacquered chinoiserie longcase clock, the hood with pagoda top above an arched glazed door flanked by columns, the dial with arched top section engraved Thomas Kefford Royston above a strike silent dial, the chapter ring with Roman numerals and Arabic numerals to the exterior with central seconds dial and date aperture. The case with all-over scroll and shell decoration, the door depicting an oriental scene with pagodas and figures to the foreground, on a stepped plinth base. Est £250-400
