Kerry. The bookcase in the Neo-Gothic style with a linen fold frieze to the pediment over four plain glazed doors, above four linen fold doors to the base and gables, raised on a moulded plinth., 240cms x 214cms (94 /2" x 84"). (1) Provenance: Godfrey Family, Sir John Godfrey commissioned Morrison as an architect to renovate Kilcolman. The family abandoned Kilcolman in 1958 due to severe dry rot. By descent to a member of the Godfrey Family.

There is a crack to the top right corner of the front, and there are some other chipped areas to the draw supports, general rubbing and marking all over, some of the draws dont sit quite flush. Oak six drawer plan chest, in two sections, plinth base, width 150cm, depth 93cm, height 84cm.Condition report:Functionally the chest is fone, all drawers are sound and run ok, and relatively clean to the interiors. Aesthetically it would need some remedial work as the top is heavily worn (varnish is flaking and worn, but no significantly deep scratches) and the sides have heavy scratches to them, with additional screw holes having been drilled just below the top (for reasons unknown).

Oak six drawer plan chest, in two sections, plinth base, width 150cm, depth 93cm, height 84cm.Condition report:Functionally ok with the drawers all in good sound order and running well. The top has a split to the front right hand corner, running approximately 10cm. The top also has a significant shadow our line to the rear right hand corner, and there are three screwholes through the front of the top which suggests there was once an additional item secured on top of the chest, resulting in the discrepancy in colour of the top. Some heavy scratching to the rear top left corner. Heavy scratching to the sides.

Light oak nine drawer plan chest, in three sections, plinth base, width 116cm, depth 80cm, height 89cm.Condition report:The chest remains functional with drawers all running well and are clean and sound. The front edge of the top is splitting away from the rest of the top, about a third of the length from the left hand side and it looks to be doing the same from the right hand side. The top has minor marks and scratches. More significant scratches and additional drill holes to the sides.
