An impressive pair of flower encrusted Continental porcelain candelabra, one elegantly depicting a young lady leaning against a tree holding flowers in her hands, the other a young man holding a sheaf of Wheat in his right hand and ears of wheat in his left hand and leaning against a tree with a Bee skip (hive) at its base. Each is raised on a white and gilt plinth having a domed top and with flower blooms strewn at the figures' feet. Each 13 1/4" high and with a blue crossed swords mark under glaze in the style of the Meissen factory. Signs of old glued repairs.

With weight and pendulum. William Richardson is recorded as a clockmaker and cabinet maker, this probably accounts for this better than average case for a 30 hour clock.
