An Edwards & Roberts mahogany Wellington chest, the moulded pediment over eight graduated drawers with turned wooden handles, and folding flaps to either side, supported on a plinth base. Stamped Edwards & Roberts to the top drawer. 60 cm wide, 40 cm deep, 124 cm high.Condition report: Structually, the item is good, considerable fading to front and top. Drawers all good. A natural stone staddle stone with circular top on a tapered base, 49 cm diameter x 73 cm high approx. CONDITION REPORTS Weathered conducive with age and use to include moss, lichen etc. There is a hole to the top of staddle stone top and the plinth base has the top half missing - see images for more detail
A Victorian walnut bookcase cabinet, the glazed upper section with moulded cornice over two doors enclosing adjustable shelving over two short and two long drawers to plinth base, 127 cm wide x 51 cm deep x 210.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has water marks throughout. Generally sun-bleached. Knocks, bumps, etc. Large scuff to one side. Glass is intact. Appears to have replacement shelves and replacement beading to the opening door. Middle drawer support also appears to be a replacement as it is a very different colour to the rest of the piece. One lock is missing. A couple of splits particularly where the wood joins. Wear and tear throughout but generally solid. Unlikely to be a converted linen press - not deep enough, wrong wood, etc.

A Victorian mahogany wellington chest, the plain top with moulded edge over a single short drawer and secretaire drawer as two, opening to reveal pigeonholes and drawers over four further drawers with turned knob handles raised on a plinth base 56.5 cm wide x 38.8 cm deep x 119 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Whilst basically sound and of uniform colour, though possibly a little more faded to the right than the left panels, the top has several splits horizontally along the grain. Third drawer down (second dummy drawer of the secretaire drawer fall front section) with vertical split bottom left and lighter split top right. Fitted interior basically sound though with some signs of wear and tear conducive with age and use. Leatherwork worn, particularly to the fold. Metalwork to catches with deterioration. Right hand side basically sound, left hand side with damage to beading at back and long horizontal dent halfway across just below the beading. Denting to lower right of the side panel towards the front - see images for further detail
