A Victorian Gothic Revival carved oak sideboard with green man masks, warriors, etc, the glazed central door to the top section enclosing shelves flanked by open tiers with open tier below, bevel edged mirror back over two drawers and two cupboard doors on a plinth base, 154.5 cm x 215 cm CONDITION REPORTS Some small chips, scratches and impressed marks all over, crack in wood above right-hand open recess, whatever the warriors were holding in their hands are missing, leaded glaze door rattles considerably when moved and is slightly pressed inwards, long deep impressed scratch to top along with various other marks, scratches, small chips etc., handle to lower door missing and replaced with screw, general signs of wear and tear.

A Beswick figure of a Bedouin Arab warrior on horseback, No'd. 2275 to base, 26.5 cm long, raised on an oak plinth stand CONDITION REPORTS Metal sword is quite bent and mis-shapen, figure generally has wear, dirt and dust, oval wooden base appears to be slightly bigger than the base of the figure so may be associated, under UV light the figure appears quite blotchy although this could be due to the amount of surface dirt, the tail appears to have been broken off and there is restoration to the tail where it meets the body of the horse, one of the ears has quite a shiny patch and a line which shows up under UV light so this has possibly also been re-glued and repaired, there is over-painting to the tail and it is not possible to see the extent of the filler/repair beneath.
A Victorian rosewood Wellington chest of six drawers with double locking mechanism, raised on a plinth base, 46 cm x 112.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS Top : split running all the way across, small chips, etc. mainly to edges, some small faint scratches all over, edging around top with significant loss of veneer and wood under in places. Front : some labels attached, small signs of wear, some small losses of veneers, some handles loose and small signs of general wear and tear,. Base has small losses of veneer, small scratches and general signs of wear and tear, Left-hand side : top left corner missing section of wood and veneer, small scratches and impressed marks, split to right-hand side lower half. Split running most of the way down the side, losses of veneer to base, impressed marks, scratches etc. Back : has split, later repaired in part, all over general scratches, scuffs and marks, general signs of wear and tear.
A Victorian oak bookcase cabinet, the moulded cornice above two glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves on a base of two plain panelled cupboard doors enclosing a single shelf, raised on a plinth support, 121 cm x 243.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS Approx 48 cm deep. Overall with some general wear and scuffs, various knocks, bumps and chips to edges. Some scratches and stains to the top including a very large brown stain. Top glazed cupboard section has stains to interior. Has four shelves. Has various re-drilled holes to the base. The bottom cupboard section has a replace shelf to interior. Various wear and scuffs and some scratches and stains. Colour overall appears reasonably good.
A late Regency mahogany secretaire bookcase, the moulded satinwood and rosewood strung cornice over two astragal glazed doors enclosing four shelves on a base with fitted secretaire drawer over two cupboard doors enclosing press type drawers, raised on bracket feet, 100 cm x 226.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear and scuffs. Various repairs and inserted sections. Quite a lot of splits throughout. Quite a lot of losses to mouldings. Brass banding down the central door appears to be later replacement and is in sections. There is no lock to the secretaire section and central door within the secretaire section is locked but there is no key. Generally with some scuffs and stains and some chips and splits. Interior of the top glazed section has some re-drilled holes. Please see photos for examples. There is no key to the lower door section either. Lower plinth section is approx 51 cm deeep.
A 19th Century French oak dressoir, the super structure with two galleried shelves over a single cabinet door flanked by rope twist side pilasters the whole with Gothic style carved tracery throughout raise on a plinth base, (Provenance: Originally came out of The George Hotel, Winchcombe) 95 cm wide x 217.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Dresser is in three sections. Top section : small chips to carving, some small scratches and small splits, to the back of the top section there is a large split. Middle section : some large splits mainly to the panelled back, some splits to the frame, large chip to top left corner, large crack to top right, moulding to bottom left corner missing, evidence of woodworm holes, old putty to top of the top panel, evidence of old repair. Bottom section : top with impressed marks, some splits, possible evidence of shrinkage to door, evidence of old repair to top right corner, large split to door panel, woodworm holes, and possible other holes, holes to bottom, chips to linen fold decoration on the side. Large hole to backboard. A lot of signs of wear and tear throughout in the form of chips, scratches, splits, impressed marks, etc.
